SHISUK Agro Ltd transforms Bangladesh's floodplains into safe, sustainable food ecosystems — combining FAO-certified practices, organic farming, and community enterprise across Daudkandi and beyond.
SHISUK Agro Ltd is a pioneering food safety and sustainable aquaculture enterprise headquartered in Daudkandi, Comilla. Since our founding in 2009, we have partnered with the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) to implement globally recognized safe food practices across Bangladesh's vast floodplain ecosystems.
Our Community Enterprise Approach empowers rural farming communities to transition from chemical-intensive agriculture to certified organic, FAO-compliant production — without sacrificing yield or income. We manage 70+ active fish farming projects spanning 25,000–30,000 bighas of land, collectively producing BDT 500 crore in fish annually.
In partnership with BARI, Krishi Gobeshona Foundation, and Bangladesh Agricultural University, we lead research-backed programs in biofertilizer production, post-harvest fish handling, and integrated crop-fish systems.
Real numbers that reflect a real transformation — from chemical-heavy traditional farming to a thriving, FAO-certified safe food ecosystem.
Our 5-step integrated value chain ensures every fish and crop produced meets the highest food safety standards — from cultivation to consumer.
From pond to plate — our comprehensive service suite transforms how Bangladesh produces, handles, and delivers safe food.
SHISUK implements all 10 of FAO's globally recognized Code of Practice keys — the gold standard for safe food production worldwide.
Whether you're a farmer, researcher, NGO, government body, or investor — SHISUK Agro welcomes partnerships that advance food safety, sustainable aquaculture, and community development across Bangladesh.
